A merciless school district viewed her as a disturbed student. The school's administration became the bullies. They attempted to block her picture from the yearbook.

Injustices grew. Our attorney recused himself as discrimination was outside his area of law. Jim had to learn to represent Grace pro se. Grace's quest to meet her birth family intensified. A puppy helped Grace overcome obstacles on her track to a happy life.

She is a member of the Church Of Christ and has been a guest speaker at ladies retreats. Ellen has been a presenter at The Tallahassee Writers Conference. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education.
