Shadows
Take a trip back in history to a small farm in Michigan and meet Emma. Emma lived a peaceful life. Her days are filled with caring for her father and brothers. She had no time to socialize.
When a young man saved Emma from an embarrassing situation, they formed a friendship. Soon her days are filled with laughter and joy. Emma’s family noticed the change in her and arranged a marriage to a family friend.
As Emma struggled to decide if she should honor her father’s wishes or follow her own heart, she came to realize that God does not simply guide us by the events along our path…sometimes we are guided by the shadows.
About Jules Nelson (Grand Rapids, Michigan Author)
Jules NELSON spent much of her childhood in Northern Michigan making up stories and writing them down. The characters in her stories were so real to her that they seemed to come alive.
As she grew up, Jules spent every spare minute reading, writing or researching. That tradition continued in college by majoring in History and English.
Today, Jules spends her time making the world a better place for kids. Whether it is helping kids in the classroom, encouraging them through theatre or helping international students feel welcomed. In her spare moments, she continues to dream up new stories.
